The heart shaped garden is called "Deaux Hearts" Wedding Location which means two hearts. The heart shaped garden is beautiful and green throughout the year. The pleasant aroma of the blooming jasmine during the spring season along with the small white and yellow blooms is an elegant addition to any wedding. A beautiful wrought iron heart shaped arch adds more beauty to this area as well.

The "Grand Staircase" is located off the magnificent round porch on the south face of the home. It flows from 7 foot at the top to 16 foot wide at the base with steps being 15 inches deep. It has victorian balusters on each side of the staircase with a center podium at the top. When using this location the home is a stunning backdrop itself.

The pavilion offers many uses. The steamboat pavilion is named " D'arbonne Lady K". When Pat envisioned this idea he desired architectural creativity. Therefore, he built it like a steamboat in dedication to Captain Oscar Baughman who was J. D.'s brother. Captain Baughman brought materials and furnishings up the D’arbonne to help build this beautiful old home. So it was just for him the pavilion was built!
The pavilion will accommodate 150 people. It has a 16 x 16 dance floor. It is centrally heated and air conditioned as well with 10 ceilings fans pulling either heat or air; whichever is necessary. In the rear it is set up for caterers with a microwave, hot and cold running water and tables and shelving. It also has a speaker system with plenty of electrical outlets.
It has been used for wedding receptions, reunions, birthday parties, church meetings, etc. We also have chairs and tables available.

This room is one of the first you will see upon entering the foyer. It sits to the west side of the house and looks on to the front lawn, gazebo and pavilion. Aside from the window, the room is adorned by bookshelves with a beautiful fireplace. This is a perfect location for a small indoor wedding, and is also suitable for luncheons, dinner parties, book club meetings, etc.
